Our community has been devastated by the horrific Hamas Islamic terrorist attacks against Israelis on October 7th. The assaults were planned over several years as “Palestinians” working for and with Jews in Israel tortured and killed the men, women and children they had come to know.
Many here in America are shocked by the number of students and others who have come out in support of Hamas. This did not happen overnight. For years, students across North Carolina have been indoctrinated by their anti-Semitic teachers to delegitimize and demonize Israel (Jews), to see terrorists as victims, thus promoting a generation that normalizes antisemitism. Duke University and UNC are major perpetrators of this Jew hatred. NCCI has created action alerts to demand these institutions address their antisemitism problem. We ask readers to review and sign, to let these leaders know it’s time to act against the hatred of Jews that is poisoning their institutions, and our community.
